With the changes in the Law regarding corporate manslaughter, there has been a big shift in the understanding of "duty of care" and corporate responsibility; this is more so for those businesses travelling to developing countries that often promise high yield profits. The chance to take advantage of under exposed markets is a challenge at the best of times and in developing countries, even basic logistics become a security issue.

Developing countries are, or can be, very difficult when it comes to personal security. Often the wrong approach to protective security will leave a visitor attracting the wrong type of attention.
